Qualifying

I only ran 1 lap in qualifying again since we were low on fuel and I wanted to make sure I had enough to finish the races and still meet the minimum weight requirement without needing to add too many extra weights on the kart.

Pre-Main

It was a very close race between me and Zach Pettinicchi, while we both preyed on each other's little mistakes. Near the last lap, Zach lost grip at turn 1 and dropped a tire, allowing me to drive by and take the lead. On the final corners of the race, I got a bad run out of Tic Tac Toe and had to defend the last corner to seal the win. I went down an extra gear to make sure I didn't big out of the final corner and won by the skin of my teeth.

Main

The main race was even more intense than the heat race, as Zach and I continued to make little mistakes the whole time. 2/3 through the race, I had another bad run out of Tic Tac Toe and tried to defend just like the last lap of the race before. I ended up overshooting the corner and washing out wide, allowing Zach to get by. On the last lap, I drove with everything I had and made up ten kart lengths, only to mess up at Tic Tac Toe again and come home in second by 4-tenths of a second.
